Yoichi Iida is at the heart of international AI governance efforts as Chair of the OECD Committee on Digital Economy Policy (CDEP), Chair of the Executive Committee at Global Partnership on AI (GPAI), and former Deputy Director General for G7/G20 Relations at the Japanese MIC. In 2023, H.E. Yoichi Iida led the G7 Digital and Technology Working Group, which drove the launch of the Hiroshima AI Process at the Hiroshima Summit.
